REGISTRATION INFORMATION Best Buy understands that system capabilities vary with each of our vendors and as a result, we are excited to offer an alternative designed for vendors who have not developed in-house electronic commerce solutions such as EDI. Vendors will subscribe to this on-line service by registering with EasyLink Services, our partner in this initiative. For vendors who are not EDI-capable for all documents available at this web site, this provides the ability to send and receive business documents electronically with no investment in costly or complicated software. Information is graphically represented on the screen and can easily be printed for processing, archiving and storage. All that is required is Internet access and a standard Web browser. It is cost efficient and is designed for ease of use with minimal computer or Internet browsing experience. With minimal time, effort, or expense, vendors can be 100% compliant on all required electronic documents, including purchase orders, purchase order changes, advance ship notices, and invoices. The Web Site is designed to ensure that all information is secure and protected from unauthorized access. Simply stated, there are three levels of security:
Registration Instructions: Vendors will be billed directly by EasyLink Services on a monthly basis and payment options will be offered as described in the Services Agreement. Once your registration is complete, Best Buy will contact you shortly thereafter via e-mail or phone, to notify you of the date you will begin using this Web site to trade business documents. To successfully register and login, the authorized Best Buy vendor needs a valid account number (your Best Buy vendor number) and password, a standard Web browser (such as Netscape Navigator or Microsoft's Internet Explorer) and Internet access. If a vendor should need assistance locating an Internet Access Provider, they may contact EasyLink Services' Enrollment Team at 1-800-342-4401 for a recommended provider. With the ease of pointing and clicking at a desktop computer, today a vendor can view, print and save Best Buy purchase orders on-line. Also, vendors can send Best Buy invoices and ASN's, easily and quickly from their desktop, without disrupting internal systems. Select vendors may also view Product Sales and Inventory Information and receive Routing Instructions. The Web Site is best viewed with the following minimal requirements:
