Visitor Directions to Best Buy

Best Buy Corporate Visitor Entrance Security
Main Visitor Entrance Hours of Operation: 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday - Friday

Once you park, you will proceed to the Visitor entrance. As you enter, there is a Pre-Security Reception area where all visitors will pass through a metal detector which is conducted by a BBY Corporate Security Officer. Once complete, you will proceed to our receptionist staff to be registered and wait for your BBY Host. The receptionists will ask you for the following items:

  1. Name of BBY employee you are here to see. They will then call them to inform them you are here.
  2. The receptionists will then ask you your name and register the visit.
  3. They will then ask you to sign in and fill out the necessary information.
  4. A Visitor badge will now be assigned to you. With this Visitor badge, it will allow you to re-enter the Facility after you have had lunch on the Patio or have used the smoking rooms.
  5. You will then be asked to have a seat in the lobby and wait for your BBY employee escort. If interested, a Caribou Coffee store is set up to the left of the receptionist.

After your visit, we ask that you turn your badge in to the receptionists in the lobby. If you are leaving after hours, please place your badge on the receptionist desk.

From Airport

  • Take Hwy. 5 South to I494 West.
  • I494 West to Penn Avenue exit.
  • Go right on Penn and take your first turn at the 1st set of stoplights.
  • You will notice a marble sign stating Employee’s to go left and Visitors to go right. Please veer to your right.
  • The Visitor parking lot will be your next left.

From the East Metro

  • Take I494 West to Penn Avenue.
  • Go right on Penn, take your first right at the 1st set of stoplights.
  • You will notice a marble sign stating Employee’s to go left and Visitors to go right. Please veer to your right.
  • The Visitor parking lot will be your next left.

From Minneapolis

  • Take 35W South to I494 West.
  • I494 West to Penn Avenue.
  • Go right on Penn, take your first right at the 1st set of stoplights.
  • You will notice a marble sign stating Employee’s to go left and Visitors to go right. Please veer to your right.
  • The Visitor parking lot will be your next left.

From the South Metro

  • Take 35W North to 1494 West
  • I494 West to Penn Avenue.
  • Go right on Penn, take your first right at the 1st set of stoplights.
  • You will notice a marble sign stating Employee’s to go left and Visitors to go right. Please veer to your right.
  • The Visitor parking lot will be your next left.

From the West Metro

  • Take I494 South to I494 East
  • I494 East to Penn Avenue
  • At stoplights, take a left onto Penn Avenue
  • Take your first right at the 1st set of stoplights
  • You will notice a marble sign stating Employee’s to go left and Visitors to go right. Please veer to your right.
  • The Visitor parking lot will be your next left.

From St. Paul:

  • Take 35E South to I494 West.
  • I494 West to Penn Ave.
  • Go right on Penn, take your first right at the 1st set of stoplights.
  • You will notice a marble sign stating Employee’s to go left and Visitors to go right. Please veer to your right.
